The success of Ministry of External Affairs' (MEA) Twitter Seva has inspired the Union Home Ministry set up a Twitter Seva Cell to attend and redress public grievances in the most effective manner. The Home Ministry will channelise the messages received from the public to the concerned joint secretary who will have to act on them. Joint Secretary (Police- I) Kumar Alok (IAS:1990:MT) has been made the nodal officer for the pilot project.
