Several IAS and KAS officers have been redeployed in J&K with immediate effect. According to an order issued on Tuesday, Hilal Ahmad Parray, commissioner secretary, Youth Services and Sports Department holding the additional charge of administrative secretary, Technical Education Department, has been posted as officer on special duty in the General Administration Department. Muhammad Javed Khan, awaiting orders of posting in the General Administration Department, has been posted as secretary, Technical Education, Youth Services and Sports Department. Sarmad Hafeez, managing director, J&K Tourism Development Corporation, who is also looking after the charge of administrative secretary, Tourism Department has been transferred and posted as special secretary, Information Department. He will also look after the charge of administrative secretary, Information Department. Shah Faesal, managing director, State Power Development Corporation, has been transferred and posted as additional secretary, Tourism Department. Javed Ahmad Panzoo, director, Soil and Water Conservation has been transferred and posted as secretary, ARI, and Trainings Department, on the ex-cadre basis. M.D. Khan, secretary, Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs has been transferred and posted as secretary, Agriculture Production Department. Dr. Abdul Rashid, Labour Commissioner, J&K holding additional charge of secretary Information Department has been transferred and posted as secretary, Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs. Muhammad Saleem Shishgar, secretary in the Planning, Development and Monitoring Department has transferred and posted as secretary, Culture Department. Veer Ji Hangloo, director, Social Welfare, Jammu has been transferred and posted as mission director, ICDS, J&K. Bashir Ahmad Khan, chief executive officer, J&K Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board has been transferred and posted as Labour Commissioner, J&K. He will continue to hold charge of the post of chief executive officer, J&K Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, in addition to his own duties, till further orders. Dr. Bharat Bushan, awaiting orders of posting in the General Administration Department, has been posted as director, Social Welfare, Jammu. G.A. Sofi, mission director, ICDS, J&K, has been transferred and posted as secretary (Technical) in the Transport Department. Shafat Sultan, awaiting orders of posting in the General Administration Department, has been posted as mission director, ICPS. Syed Abul Qasim, Joint Commissioner (administration) in the Srinagar Municipal Corporation, under orders of transfer as chief executive officer KVIB, has been transferred and posted as managing director, J&K Horticulture Produce, Marketing and Processing Corporation. Anoo Malhotra, additional commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Administration) Jammu will look after the charge of excise commissioner, J&K, in addition to her own duties. Shamim Ahmad Wani, additional commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Administration) Srinagar will look after the charge of Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, J&K, in addition to his own duties. The order further reads that Javed Ahmad Panzoo, Shafat Sultan, and Syed Abul Qasim shall continue to retain lien and promotion prospects in their parent cadres. The state cabinet also approved the promotion of Vinod Sharma, chief executive officer, Jhelum and Tawi Flood Recovery Project, and Dr. Saleem-Ur-Rehman, Director Health Services, Kashmir to the Common Pool of posts for Heads of the Departments in the pay band of Rs. 37,400-67,000 with Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000 w.e.f 11.4.2018.
