The NaMo administration on Monday effected a major bureaucratic rejig at Joint Secretary level posts in Govt of India. Accordingly;

 

  • Rajesh Kumar (lAS:1988:MN) appointed to the post of Principal Commissioner, Delhi Development Authority (DDA) for an overall tenure of five years. He replaces J P Agrawal (CSS).
  • Ram Prasad Meena (IPS:1993:AM) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment for a tenure of five years. He replaces Babu Lal Meena (lAS:1991:UP)  who is all set to complete his central deputation tenure on 05 May 2019.
  • Sandeep Pondrik (lAS:1993:BH) appointed  Advisor, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) under the Ministry of Home Affairs for an overall tenure of seven years.
  • Srivats Krishna (lAS:1994:KN) appointed as Secretary, Coffee Board under the Department of Commerce, for an overall tenure of five years, by temporarily upgrading the post at JS level.
  • Sunil Kumar (IRAS:1995) appointed Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas for a tenure of five years. He replaces Sandeep Pondrik (IAS:1993:BH).
  • V K Dewangan (lAS:1993:MN) appointed Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Power for an overall tenure of five years. He replaces Ms Bharati (IFoS:1992:SK)
  • Abhishek Singh (lAS:1995:NL) appointed to the post of Secretary, Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB), a newly created post, under the Department of Agricultural Research & Education for a tenure of five years.
  • Ms K Sunitha (lAS:1996:AP) appointed to the post of Executive Director, Tobacco Board under the Department of Commerce overall tenure of five years by temporarily upgrading the post at JS level.
  • Ms Meera Ranjan Tsering (IPoS:1988) appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs for an overall tenure of five years. She replaces Vinod Kumar Tiwari (IFoS:1986:HP). 
  • Navneet Gupta (IA&AS:1997) appointed to the post of Joint Secretary, Department of Telecommunications for a tenure of five years. Gupta replaces  Shashi Ranjan Kumar (lAS:1992:TR).
  • Ms Dipti Mohil Chawla (IDAS:1995) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence for a tenure of five years. She replaces Ravi Kant (IOFS:1986).
  • Ms Nita Kejrewal I (CSS cadre officer) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Rural
  • Development for a tenure of five years. She replaces  Ms Alka Upadhyaya (IAS:1990:MP).
  • Siddhartha Singh Longjam (IA&AS:1994) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Sports for a tenure of five years. He replaces Pankaj Rag (IAS:1990:MP).
  • J P Agrawal (CSS cadre officer) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Official Language for a ending 30 November 2019 i.e. till his retirement. He replaces Bipin Behari (IFoS:1985:UT).

  • L K Meena (CSS cadre officer) appointed Joint Secretary, Ministry of Women & Child Development for a tenure ending 28 February 2021. Meena replaces Rajesh Kumar (IAS:1988:MN).
  • Ms Anu Nagar (IFoS:1995:HP) appointed Joint Secretary, Department of Health Research for a tenure of five years. She replaces Ms Sarita Mittal (CSS cadre officer) who is retiring May this year.
  • Daniel Richards (CSS cadre officer) appointed Joint Secretary, National Commission for Minorities (NCM) under the Ministry of Minority Affairs for a tenure of five years. He replaces  Ajoy Kumar (lAS:1984:BH).
  • Ms Nigar Fatima Husain (IDES:1996) appointed Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Minority Affairs for an overall tenure of five years. She replaces K C Samaria (lAS:1993:AM) completing his tenure on tenure on 08 May 2019.
