In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, Kumaraswamy made changes to key posts in the government on Friday L K Atheeq (IAS:1991:KN), Principal Secretary to former CM Siddaramaiah, was finally given a posting in H D Kumaraswamy's government. He was kept on wait after the short-lived Yediyurappa Govt had made a small bureaucratic rejig in haste. Atheeq has now been posted as Principal Secretary to Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department. Ajay Seth (IAS:1987:KN) was made MD of Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd in an upgraded post. He will retain his current charge ACS, Dept of Health and Family Welfare. Jawaid Akhtar (IAS:1989:KN) was made Principal Secretary to the government, Health and Family Welfare Department. Prior to this he was MD, Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. N Nagambika Devi (IAS:1989:KN), currently Principal Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, was transferred to Cooperation Department. Anjum Parvez has been posted as Secretary, DPAR whereas Naveen Raj Singh (IAS:1998:KN) who was Commissioner, Transport and Road Safety, will now be MD, Karnataka State Minerals Corporation Ltd. Subodh Yadav (IAS:1999:KN), who was awaiting posting after study leave, has been posted as Secretary, Hyderabad Karnataka Region Development Board. Pankaj Kumar Pandey (IAS:2000:KN), Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies Department, has been transferred as Commissioner, Health and Family Welfare Department. B R Mamatha (IAS:2010:KN), awaiting posting, has been made Mission Director, National Rural Livelihood Mission. Shilpa Sharma was appointed Assistant Commissioner Raichur sub-division; M R Ravi Kumar as Commissioner, Mysuru City Corporation and K M Janaki were appointed MD Karnataka State Bio-energy Development Board respectively. Nalini Atul (IAS:2014:KN), Joint MD, Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation has been transferred as CEO, Raichur Zila Parishad.
