The development comes in the backdrop of many revelations including the suspicious role of police encounter specialist Sachin Vaze. Reportedly, Param Bir Singh has been moved as the Director-General of Home Guards, Maharashtra. The transfer of Param Bir Singh comes amid escalating pressure on the Thackeray-led Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi government over the alleged involvement of former API Sachin Vaze in the case pertaining to bombs and explosives that was discovered in an SUV outside Antilia on 25 February.
