Ashish Madhaorao More, a 2005-batch officer of the UT cadre, may take up the job of Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu's private secretary. Having worked without an IAS officer as his private secretary for several months now, Prabhu is said to be in favor of appointing Madhaorao.
The post of the Railway Minister's private secretary has been lying vacant after Dr. Sanjeev Kumar left a few months ago. A Maharashtrian like Prabhu, More was among the IAS officers posted with Delhi government who were shuffled out by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. More's posting in Rail Bhawan is still to get the final approval.
