The NaMo administration Tuesday late evening cleared the appointment of Dinesh Kumar Khara as Chairman, SBI for a term of three years. He will receive the baton from Rajnish Kumar whose three-year term comes to an end today i.e. 7 October. The country's largest lender is headed by a chairman with four MDs to assist. Khara started his journey with SBI in 1984 as a Probationary Officer and later became instrumental in merging five associate banks and Bharatiya Mahila Bank with SBI effective April 2017.
