Karnal Singh all set to get extension

By IndianMandarins- 23 Oct 2018

The outgoing Enforcement Directorate Chief Karnal Singh (IPS:1984:UT) is all set to get extension for a period of six months. His fixed tenure comes to an end on coming Friday.

Amid constant reluctance in moving the file related to Singh’s extension the NaMo administration appears keen on retaining Karnal Singh ahead of 2019 elections.

Once he gets another six months term, Singh would be completing his tenure on April 25, 2019. It is also believed that Girish Chandra Murmu (IAS:1985:GJ) may be given chance well before Singh’s extended tenure comes to an end early next year.
