Delhi Jal Board Vice-Chairman Kapil Mishra named as the new Law Minister replacing Jitender Singh Tomar. Tomar had resigned from the post last night following his arrest on charge of possessing fake degrees.
Mr Mishra is the legislator from Karawal Nagar. He is also the vice chairman of the Delhi Jal Board, the municipal body that supplies piped water in the city. Mishra will also be taking additional charge of the tourism portfolio.
