that in all likelihood Ashok Barnwal (IAS:1991:MP) may be retained as Principal
Secretary to Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. The newly appointed CM Kamalnath
is reported to have been considering him as his PS as well. Though, three names had been doing rounds for the job namely; ICP Keshari (IAS:1988:MP), Malay Shrivastava (IAS:1990:MP) and Manu Srivastava (IAS:1991:MP). It may be underlined that Barnwal
was appointed PS to the then CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan in August 2016. Earlier, Barnwal served with Kamalnath as PS during his tenure as Union Commerce Minister during UPA-II.
