K.V. Chowdary sworn in as Central Vigilance Commissioner

President Pranab Mukherjee administered the oath of office to newly-appointed Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) KV Chowdary at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Mr. Chowdary retired as CBDT chief in October last year. A day before he is set to take over as the new Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC), he resigned from the post of Advisor to the Special Investigation team (SIT) on black money.
