Jivesh Nandan to replace Ram Subhag Singh as JS, Defence

Jivesh Nandan has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence. Presently Nandan is serving in the cadre as Principal Secretary for IT and Electronics, Govt of Uttar Pradesh. In his new stint under central dupatation Jivesh Nandan will succeed Ram Subhag Singh (IAS:1987:HP) who was laterally shifted from Defence to the Ministry of Agriculture as Managing Director, NAFED (National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd) in November 2014.
