Ranchi (28.05.2025): The Jharkhand government led by Hemant Soren has enacted a jumbo reshuffle of 48 IPS officers, including SSPs and SPs of 14 districts. This reshuffle has been done a couple of days after 20 District Magistrates out of 24 districts of Jharkhand were changed. This is being looked upon as an attempt to enhance administrative efficiency. Some of the important changes are as follows:

• Tadasha Mishra (IPS: 1994) has been appointed Special Secretary in the Home, Prison and Disaster Management Department.
• Sanjay Anandrao Lathkar (IPS: 1995) has been appointed as the new ADG Railways.
• T Kandasamy (IPS: 1995) has been appointed as ADG (Campaign).
• Priya Dubey (IPS: 1998), ADG, Jharkhand Armed Police, will now hold the additional charge of ADG Modernisation cum Training.
• Manoj Kaushik (IPS: 2001) has been appointed as Inspector General, Ranchi.
• Akhilesh Kumar Jha (IPS: 2003) has been transferred from IG, Ranchi to Director, Jharkhand Police Academy.
• Amol V Homkar (IPS: 2004) has been moved to the post of IG, Railways.
• Prabhat Kumar (IPS: 2004), IG Special Branch, will also handle the additional charge of IG JAP.
• Michael Raj S (IPS: 2006) has been transferred from IG, Bokaro to IG, Campaign.
• Kranti Kumar Gadidesi (IPS: 2006) has been appointed as IG, Bokaro.
• Narendra Kumar Singh (IPS: 2006) has been appointed as IG, Human Rights.
• Shailendra Kumar Sinha (IPS: 2006) has been appointed as IG, Dumka.
• Sudarshan Prashad Mandal (IPS: 2006), IG, Organised crime and investigation, has been entrusted with additional charge of IG, Headquarters.
• Patel Mayoor Kanhaiyalal (IPS: 2007) has been appointed as IG, Provisions.
• Sanjeev Kumar (IPS: 2009) has been transferred from DIG Hazaribagh to DIG ACB.
• Ajeet Kumar (IPS: 2016) has been transferred from SP City, Dhanbad to SP City, Ranchi.
• Praveen Pushkar (IPS: 2020) has been transferred from SP, Rail to SP, Rural Ranchi.
• Kusum Punia (IPS: 2010) has been transferred from SP, Special Branch to Commandant JAP-9, Sahibganj.
• Kishor Kaushal (IPS: 2010) has been transferred from SSP Jamshedpur to Commandant JAP-7, Hazaribagh.
• Piyush Pandey (IPS: 2014) has been transferred from Commandant JAP-10 to SSP, Jamshedpur.
• Nidhi Dwivedi (IPS: 2013) has been shifted from SP CID to SP, Pakur.
• Rajkumar Mehta (IPS: 2016) has been transferred from SP City Ranchi to SP, Jamtara.
• Mukesh Kumar (IPS: 2016) has been transferred from Commandant CISF, Bokaro to SP Godda.
• Rakesh Ranjan (IPS: 2017) has been transferred from Commandant JAP-1 to SP West Singhbhum (Chaibasa).
