Jharkhand: Twenty districts get new District Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner

Ranchi (26.05.2025): The Government of Jharkhand, in a major administrative decision, reshuffled the district magistrates and deputy commissioners in twenty districts. There are 24 districts in Jharkhand of which 20 districts get new administrative heads. The list of newly appointed deputy commissioners goes as follows:
  1. Ajay Nath Jha (IAS: 2012: JH)- Bokaro
  2. Faiz Aq Ahmed Mumtaj (IAS: 2014: JH)- Ramgarh
  3. Aditya Ranjan (IAS: 2015: JH)- Dhanbad
  4. Ram Niwas Yadav (IAS: 2015: JH)- Giridih
  5. R Ronita (IAS: 2015: JH)- Khunti
  6. Naman Priyesh Lakra (IAS: 2015: JH)- Deoghar
  7. Anjali Yadav (IAS: 2015: JH)- Godda
  8. Karn Satyarthi (IAS: 2016: JH)- East Singhbhum (Jamshedpur)
  9. Chandan Kumar (IAS: 2016: JH)- West Singhbhum (Chaibasa)
  10. Kanchan Singh (IAS: 2016: JH)- Simdega
  11. Nitish Kumar Singh (IAS: 2017: JH)- Saraikela-Kharsawan
  12. Prerna Dixit (IAS: 2017: JH)- Gumla
  13. Shashi Prakash Singh (IAS: 2017: JH)- Hazaribagh
