Srinagar (21.02.2026): The Jammu and Kashmir government has effected transfer and posting of over a dozen officers. The names and new assignments of these officers are as follows:
- Ashwani Kumar (IAS: 1992: AGMUT) has been posted as Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Power Development Department with additional charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Mining Department.
- Dr Ashish Chandra Verma (IAS: 1994: AGMUT), Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Tourism Department, will also hold the additional charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Agriculture Production Department.
- Shailendra Kumar (IAS: 1995: AGMUT) has been transferred as posted as Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Finance Department.
- M Raju (IAS: 2005: AGMUT), Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department, will also hold the charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Health & Medical Education Department.
- R Alice Vaz (IAS: 2005: AGMUT) has been posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department. She will also hold the charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Information Department.
- Yasha Mudgal (IAS: 2007: AGMUT) has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Cooperatives Department.
- Shahid Iqbal Choudhary (IAS: 2009: AGMUT) has been transferred as posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Youth Services and Sports Department.
- Dr Piyush Singla (IAS: 2012: AGMUT), Secretary to the Government, Information Technology Department, will also hold the charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Public Grievances Department relieving Naveen S L (IAS: 2012: AGMUT).
- Babila Rakwa, JKAS, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Science and Technology Department.
- Anjali Sehrawat (IAS: 2013: AGMUT) has been posted as Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission.
- Nidhi Malik (IAS: 2013: AGMUT) has been transferred and posted as Inspector General of Registration, J&K.
