Remember Prashant Kishore - the bespectacled poll strategist credited with devising a strategy which saw Narendra Modi comfortably glide to the high chair of Prime Minister in 2014. That he drifted away from the BJP amid reports of strained relations with Amit Shah may well be a history now. What is fresh is that Prashant Kishore may have made a quite return to his original job that is planning a victory for Modi in 2019 Lok Sabha polls. Kishore generally avoids media. He is hardly seen in the company of political leaders other than the one whom he promotes as the 'headquarters' of the campaign. He has a vast army of young volunteers in his team and has worked for number of political parties belonging to diverse topographies. He claims a high success rate - his only debacle being the 2017 UP Assembly elections where he worked for the Congress and the Samajwadi coalition which failed bitterly at the hustings. But his successes far outnumber his failures with the most glowing being the 2015 campaign for Nitish in Bihar or the 2017 campaign for Amrinder Singh in Punjab. Sources say its BJP again for him in 2019 and the Ghar Wapsi has reportedly taken place already. The birdies of the Lutyens say Kishore may already have met the PM. His calibre at understanding the dynamics that constitute poll victory is regarded highly by PM himself. Kishore's style includes regular one to one interaction with the most important person of the Campaign which sometimes also includes staying on the same floor with the leader and advice him on a daily basis. He practiced this with Modi and Nitish earlier and now is ready to again test the efficacy of his style with a campaign ready for the PM. Sources add the campaign is built around Mahatma Gandhi and eggs-on the college-goers to choose a leader in today's world who can actualise the vision of the Mahatma.
