Ranchi (27.11.2024): Mahtos have become nightmares for the BJP in Jharkhand, if it was Sudesh Mahto in 2019 Assembly elections who was said to be the spoiler of the BJP game when the saffron outfit managed to get 25 seats in the Assembly and in the 2024 Assembly elections Jayram Mahto seems to have harmed the BJP the most. Jairam Mahto was not taken seriously by the BJP leadership in the state despite the fact that he polled sizable chunk of votes in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. But he seems to have become Hardik Patel of Jharkhand. At least in two dozen constituencies, Jharkhand Loktantrik Morcha harmed the NDA deflating its strategy. It seems the BJP would have to offer Jairam Mahto to join hands with it in the next elections to form the government.
