5418New Delhi (09.02.2021): The Revenue Department of the Finance Ministry has consented to the DoPT's proposal to change the name of the Indian Revenue Service Customs & Central Excise (IRS C&CE) to Indian Revenue Service Customs & Indirect Taxes (IRS C&IT). Following the change of name, the Revenue Department is ready to amend its Service Rules. The amended rules will then be moved for approval.
