Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has approved the voluntary retirement of B Radhika (IPS: 1989: OD), who was one of the three contenders for the post of Director General of Police (DGP) of the state.She was appointed as Chairperson of State Police Recruitment Board last month after returning from central deputation with additional charge State Forensic Science Laboratory (SFSL), Odisha, as its Director. The government has also relaxed the mandatory notice period of three months for her voluntary retirement from government service to take care of her parents. She was due to retire in July.
