Inter-cadre deputation: Senior IRTS officer goes to UT of J&K

3836New Delhi (19.02.2021): The Union Government has picked 1991 batch IRTS officer Ranjan Prakash Thakur for the appointment, on a deputation basis, in UT of J&K for a period of three years ending July 2023. Thakur is presently working as Executive Director (Fuel Transportation), NTPC since July 2020. Indianmandarins had reported earlier (CLICK TO READ) that the new UT is acutely short of Group A Service officers, and the MHA has been keen to deploy more officers in the state on the inter-cadre deputation basis.
