New Delhi (13.05.2023): Tug of war between Delhi government and the Centre is not going to stop for now even after the SC verdict that former has the authority over transfer and posting. However, even after the transferring Services Secretary, Ashish More (IAS: 2005: AGMUT) the matter was not responded by the Home Ministry, so AAP government not only pleaded before the Supreme Court which the court listed for the next week, but also recommended the name of A K Singh (IAS: 1995: AGMUT) for the same.
Reportedly the Special Secretary of the Services Department sent a communication to the minister in-charge Saurabh Bharadwaj, indicating that the Ministry of Home Affairs notification dated May 2015, has not yet been set aside. The Secretary is yet to initiate the file related to the appointment of the new official.
