Some other services are likely to follow the suit. Neelima is alleged of transferring an industrial plot to a real estate firm.
Meanwhile Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann asked Chief Secretary Vijay Kumar Janjua to check whether the mandatory government’s permission was taken before the Vigilance Bureau booked Neelima. IAS officers want action against the Vigilance Bureau. Mann also asked Janjua to summon the Vigilance Bureau’s records wherein the decision to register the case was taken.
