Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia alleged that IAS officers are refusing to carry out the assigned works. He said that most of the IAS officers were refusing to take orders from the Delhi government.
He said that Delhi government has appointed the chairman and member of Public Grievance Commission but the secretary of Administrative Reforms Department refused to issue notification.
This is happening because the IAS officers have instructions from Prime Minister's Office (PMO) to stall the projects of public welfare in Delhi. He said that IAS officers were openly defying them.
Sisodiya said that the transport secretary refused to file an appeal in the Supreme Court against a Delhi High Court order. High Court had stayed the purchase of 2,000 buses for Delhi. But the Delhi government is keen to purchase the buses.
He said that the food commissioner refused to implement the doorstep ration delivery project in the Capital. Chief Minister himself directed the food commissioner but he did not agree to implement door step delivery of ration.
Similarly, the Managing Director of the Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corp (DSIIDC) declined to carry out the developmental works in the unauthorised colonies in the Capital.
