Kolkata (12.11.2024): The Board of Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL)
in its meeting held in Kolkata approved the Financial Results for the second
quarter ending September 2024 of the current fiscal year 2024-25. During the
quarter the financial performance of the Company has improved substantially. The Profit Before Tax on standalone basis during the half
year ending September 2024 has been Rs 289.46 crore as against Rs 144.96 crore in
the corresponding period of the last year, a whopping increase of around 100 per
cent. Even the Profit Before Tax for the quarter ending September 2024 has been
at Rs 135.33 crore as against Rs 82.75 crore in the corresponding period of the
last year, an increase of around 64 per cent. The Total Income of the company for half year ending
September 2024 has been achieved at Rs 1050.49 crore which is higher by around
35 per cent compared to corresponding period of the last year. The EBIDTA
margin achieved has been a robust 38 per cent. HCL has also recently entered into an agreement
with both Kutch Copper Limited and Hindalco for sale of its
principal product, i.e. Copper Concentrate.
