New Delhi (04.05.2024): The HDFC Bank board has reappointed the former Economic Affairs Secretary Atanu Chakraborty (Retd IAS: 1985: GJ) to its board as the part-time Chairman and Independent Director. Chakraborty’s second tenure as the part time Chairman and Independent Director will be effective from May 5, 2024 till May 4, 2027 after the Reserve Bank of India’s nod.Chakraborty mainly worked in areas of finance and economic policy, infrastructure, petroleum and natural gas. Chakraborty retired as Secretary of Department of Economic Affairs in April 2020.ALSO READ
