1242New Delhi (23.04.2021): The Reserve Bank of India has approved the appointment of Atanu Chakraborty (Retd IAS:1985:GJ) as part-time Chairman of HDFC Bank for a period of three years. Reportedly, he may take charge on May 05, 2021. It may be underlined that Chakraborty retired as Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs in April 2020. Previously, he also served as Secretary, Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM).

It may be underlined that Chakraborty retired as Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs in April 2020. Previously, he also served as Secretary, Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM).
