Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that Devendra Bhushan Gupta (IAS:1983:RJ) may be shortly be named as new Chief Secretary to the Govt of Rajasthan. If some insiders are to be believed Nihal Chand Goel (IAS:1982:RJ) may not be ruled out as Meena's successor.
Having completed a year long tenure as Chief Secretary Om Prakash Meena (IAS:1979:RJ) is retiring today i.e. June 30. He had taken over from C S Rajan on 30 June 2016.
Gupta is currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary Infrastructure, Government of Rajasthan whereas Goel currently serves as Addl Chief Secretary, Forest & Envioronment, Tourism & Culture Deptt, Rajasthan.
