The   Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting held in the second week of November, cleared promotions of seven Principal Secretary rank officers to hold Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) rank posts in Gujarat. Notification and posting to this effect may be issued soon.

Among 7 officers 3 officers belong to 1988 batch whereas 04 belong to 1989 batch. They are;

1. Sanjay Nandan (IAS:1988:GJ)- MD, Gujarat State Warehousing Corporation
2. Anuradha Mall (IAS:1988:GJ)- CEO, Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority (GSDMA)
3. Anita Karwal (IAS:1988:GJ)- Chairperson, CBSE (Govt of India)
4. Pankaj Joshi (IAS:1989:GJ)- Principal Secretary, Energy & Petrochemicals
5. Kathikithala Srinivas  (IAS:1989:GJ)- Additional Secretary, DoPT (Govt of India)
6. Amrendra Kumar Rakesh (IAS:1989:GJ)- Principal Secretary, Panchayats, Rural Housing & Rural Development
7. Sunaina Tomar (IAS:1989:GJ)- Principal Secretary, Ports & Transport
