Gujarat: Two IPS officers of 1989 batch get DGP rank, Cadre post upgraded

3378New Delhi (01.06.2021): The Gujarat government on Monday promoted two officers of the 1989 batch to DGP. Surat Police Commissioner Ajay Tomar (IPS:1989:GJ) was promoted to DGP grade and his cadre post of ADGP has been upgraded to DGP grade. Further, ADGP, CID Crime (Women Cell), Anil Pratham (IPS:1989:GJ) was promoted to DGP grade. The cadre post of ADGP, CID Crime (Women Cell), Gandhinagar, was upgraded to DGP grade.
