the occasion of 50th foundation day of WAPCOS, Union Minister for Water
Resources, River Development, Ganga Rejuvenation and Shipping Nitin Gadkari was
handed over dividend of Rs 50 Crore for the year 2017-2018 from CMD WAPCOS R K
Gupta. Minister
of state Arjun Ram Meghwal, Dr. Satya Pal Singh and dignitaries from several
countries were also present. Ministers, ambassadors and leaders of delegations
from 23 countries presented commendation certificates to Gadkari for the
contribution made by WAPCOS by developing projects and touching the lives of
many people in these countries. WAPCOS
has achieved the highest ever gross income of Rs 1110 crore during the year
2017-18. With the issuance of Bonus Shares of Rs. 35 crores, the Company's paid
up Capital has increased by 50 times during the last 8 years. The company's
profitability has touched Rs.180 crore in 2017-18. The
company has successfully accomplished several consultancy assignments in
countries covering Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and the Pacific Islands and
is operating in more than 45 Countries at present.
