The Odisha government on Friday promoted four senior IAS officers of 1987 batch to the rank of Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) namely; Rajesh Verma, Tuhin Kanta Pande, R K Sharma and Nikunja K Sunderay.
Earlier, the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting chaired by CS Aditya Prasad Padhi on 27 June, had recommended promotion for these 04 officers to ACS rank.
Tuhin Kanta Pandey, who was serving as Principal Secretary, Finance will continue as ACS Finance department.
Currently Sharma is Principal Secretary steel & mines department.
Sundaray, serving in the central government, is given proforma promotion of ACS Rank.
Rajesh Verma, PS to CM is promoted as ACS to CM.
