The Appointment Committee of Cabinet yesterday cleared the appointment of three directors in RINL, DFCCIL & MMTC. Accordingly;
Kishore Chandra Das appointed as Director (Personnel), Rastriya Ispat Nigam Ltd for which he was selected on June 01, 2016. Das will replace G B S Prasad after his retirement on December 31, 2016. Currecntly he serves in MDSL as ED (HR), MDSL.
Mahesh Kumar Mittal appointed as Director (Finance), NHPC. Currently he serves in DFCCIL as Director (Finance). Now the deck is clear for Mittal to take over from Jayant Kumar, the outgoing Director (Fin) NHPC, in February next year. He was selected for the post on June 20, 2016.
Pradipta Kumar Sarangi (ED, MECON Ltd) has been appointed Director (Technology), MECON Ltd. He will take over from S R Sengupta who is scheduled to retire on December 31 this year.
Tapas Kumar Sengupta (CGM, MMTC) has been appointed as Director (Personnel), Minerals and Trading Corporation of India Ltd. He will take over from Rajiv Jaideva after his superannuation on December 31 this year.
