7081New Delhi (15.09.2021): The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet on Tuesday cleared the empanelment of five senior Indian Economic Service officers for holding Apex Scale (HAG plus, Level 17 in the Pay Matrix) post in the Indian Economic Service (IES). Officers empanelled are; The empanelment of five IES officers assumes significance in the backdrop of the fact that, approx. 80 per cent of IPS officers and 20 per cent of IAS officers do not get the Apex scale.

New Delhi (15.09.2021): The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet on Tuesday cleared the empanelment of five senior Indian Economic Service officers for holding Apex Scale (HAG plus, Level 17 in the Pay Matrix) post in the Indian Economic Service (IES). Officers empanelled are;
- Arun Kumar Jha (IES:1985)- DG, National Productivity Council
- D P S Negi (IES:1985)- DG, Labour Bureau of India
- Mala Dutt (IES:1986)- Additional Secretary & Financial Adviser (Defence Acquisition)
- Chandrashekhar Mohapatra (IES:1986)- Additional Secretary, GST Council
- Rupa Dutta (IES:1986)- Senior Economic Adviser, Department of Economic Affairs
The empanelment of five IES officers assumes significance in the backdrop of the fact that, approx. 80 per cent of IPS officers and 20 per cent of IAS officers do not get the Apex scale.
