Finally; Shrivastava will replace Patnaik as Delhi CP tomorrow

The Union Home Ministry has finally put the months old speculations at rest by indicating that Sachchida Nand Shrivastava (IPS:1985:UT) will be the next Delhi police commissioner. Reportedly, Shrivastava's name has been finalised for the next Delhi police commissioner.

The outgoing Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik (IPS:1985:UT) will be demitting office on Saturday on completion of extended tenure.

Shrivastava was appointed as Special CP (Law & Order) on Tuesday. He was suddenly, he was repatriated to cadre from CRPF where he was working as Special DG (Training).

Shrivastava may have a tenure till June 2021.
