Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that Telangana Govt's proposal recommending a three-month extension to its outgoing Chief Secretary has reached the PMO which may soon be cleared.
K Pradeep Chandra (IAS:1982: TL) was appointed on 30th November 2016 as Chief Secretary to the Govt of Telangana, merely thirty days ahead of superannuation, following the retirement of Rajiv Sharma who was made Chief Advisor to Telangana Govt.
Reportedly his extension proposal has reached DOPT in the third week of this month. Chandra is the second Chief Secretary of Telangana.
