New Delhi (22.04.2025): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has empanelled seven IAS officers belonging to various batches and cadres for holding Additional Secretary/ Additional Secretary equivalent level posts at the Centre. The name of these officers are as follows:
Additional Secretary/ equivalent
  • Anju Sharma (IAS: 1991: GJ)
  • Aniruddhe Mukerjee (IAS: 1993: MP)
  • Nitishwar Kumar (IAS: 1996: UP)
  • Sunil Kumar Barnwal (IAS: 1997: JH)
Additional Secretary equivalent
  • Manish Bhardwaj (IAS: 1997: GJ)
  • Shantanu (IAS: 1997: TR)
  • Ramesh Kumar Sudhanshu (IAS: 1997: UK)
It may be underlined that the two toppers of respective batches appear on the list. Aniruddhe Mukerjee (1993) is currently serving in the Cadre as Principal Resident Commissioner, Madhya Pradesh Bhawan in Delhi whereas Sunil Baranwal (1997) is serving as Additional Secretary (Equivalent) in the Department of Higher Education at Centre. 
Further, Nitishwar Kumar is working as the Additional Secretary (Equivalent) in the Department of Women & Child Development in Govt of India. Kumar and Baranwal, currently at AS Equivalent level post, have been empanelled for Additional Secretary level post. 
Manish Bharadwaj and Shantanu are serving at the Joint Secretary level post in UIDAI and Ministry of DONER respectively while R K Sudhanshu is serving in the cadre.
