has reliably learnt that the NaMo administration is expected to conduct the
selection meeting for special director posts in another 10 days but the date
is yet to be finalised. It
may be underlined that three special director level posts were advertised in
June-July 2019 and last date for submission of applications was September 2019. Meanwhile, Special Director (Kolkata) Yogesh Kumar Gupta (IPS:1993:KL) was given extension
for one year w.e.f. 03.12.2019. The applicants now apprehend whether the
selection committee would propose the panels for two posts only or three posts
as per the advertisement.
