Indianmandarins
has reliably learnt that Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) may soon get
one more IG level IPS officer as Joint Director General. Presently,
BCAS has only one post of Jt DG but subject to ACC clearance, it may get one
more officer in its second line management. Creation of one more has been under
process for over two years and reportedly, a Tamil Nadu cadre IAS officer was
identified by the former Civil Aviation Secretary but it took a very long time
to get formalised and it's an old and irrelevant piece of information now. Further, the process for creation of another Joint DG post continued and finally ACC is about to clear the single name (an IPS officer) proposed for the coveted job.
