DJB CEO Kaushal Raj Sharma appointed as Secretary to Delhi LG

New Delhi (17.04.2026): Kaushal Raj Sharma (IAS: 2006: UP), Chief Executive Office, Delhi Jal Board, has been appointed as Secretary to Lt Governor of Delhi Taranjit Singh Sandhu (Retd IFS: 1988). Sharma is one of the trusted officers of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who had as Secretary to UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath before being send to Delhi. He had served as District Magistrate (DM) and then Divisional Commissioner of Prime Minister Narendra’s constituency Varanasi. The Home Ministry has given its approval to send Sharma on deputation to AGMUT cadre for three years. ALSO READ

New Delhi (17.04.2026): Kaushal Raj Sharma (IAS: 2006: UP), Chief Executive Office, Delhi Jal Board, has been appointed as Secretary to Lt Governor of Delhi Taranjit Singh Sandhu (Retd IFS: 1988).
Sharma is one of the trusted officers of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who had as Secretary to UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath before being send to Delhi.
