Indianmandarins has learnt that the selection for the post of Director (Project & Tech) NALCO is scheduled to be held on Friday (16 Sept 2016). The selection & appointment to the post is anticipated against the scheduled superannuation of N R Mohanty on January 31, 2017. If some PSU sources are to be believed as many as ten internal candidates (NALCO) are expected appear before the pub sector headhunter on September 16 namely; Shubhendu Acharya ED (S&P), Rajkishor Mishra ED (M&R), Sanjib Roy ED (Production), S K Satpathy GM, Debabrata Mohapatra GM (O&M), K K Panda ali Kinkar Panda GM, Sanjay Krishna Patel GM (Tech), Rabin Brahma GM (Project), Sharanan Chaudhuri GM (O&M) and Rabi Shankar Das GM. In addition five other candidates too are said to have shortlisted for selection interview namely; A K Mehra Dir (Tech) NMDC, R N Jha Dir (Tech) MECL, S K Srivastava GM, CIL, J Gobind Singh Project Officer, SECL. It may be recalled that it was N R Mohanty, then senior most Director on the board of NALCO, who was given additional charge of CMD, NALCO after Anshuman Das had superannuated on April 30, 2015. The candidate selected on 16th Sept will succeed Mohanty as Director (P&T) on 01 February 2017.
