As indianmandarins had anticipated in its report on February 26, 2016 Yogesh Deshmukh (IPS:1995:MP) has been appointed Joint Secretary (Security), Lok Sabha Secretariat (IG level).
Lok Sabha Secretariat had cleared and forwarded his name to Home Ministry on Feb 25, 2016. After ACC clearance MHA issued the appointment orders today.
Currently Deshmukh is posted in Railway Board as Director, Vigilance.
After he is relieved from Railway Ministry he would replace Ajay Anand (IPS:1992:UP) as Joint Secretary, Parliament Security Services.
