New Delhi (30.12: 2024): Addressing the extended Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting in Belagavi, Karnataka, Congress President Mallikarjuna Kharge reminded the top leaders to fight the atmosphere of disappointment created by Haryana and Maharashtra Assembly election results.
The Congress President said that hard work alone was not enough. A time bound, better strategy and right directions are also necessary. There is a need to bring forth local and new leadership to the party fold. He urged partymen to identify young and ideologically committed people who are ready to protect the Constitution and bring such persons into the mainstream. “We have the power of ideas, legacy of Gandhi-Nehru and heritage of great leaders. We will return from Belgaum with a new message and new resolve,” Kharge said.
