The NaMo administration on Tuesday
prematurely repatriated Kartikeya Dhanji Budhdhabhatti (IAS:2008:BH) to cadre
state with imposition of ‘extended cooling off’ period ending 29 June 2024. He
served in Cabinet Secretariat as Deputy Secretary. The ACC order categorically mentions that ‘…..Kartikey
Dhanji Budhdhabhatti will be eligible for another central deputation tenure
only after 26 June 2024 i.e. three years cooling off after 29.06.2021.’. None of his colleagues and batchmates has any
clue about this abrupt and unceremonious premature repatriation from Cabinet Secretariat to the cadre state of Bihar. But what looks apparent is that the
central govt appears to have indicated clearly that Dhanji, former PS to the
erstwhile Union Minister Upendra Kushwaha, will be unable to come at Centre in
case the NaMo Govt gets fresh mandate in 2019 LS Elections.
