New Delhi (13.11.2024): Union Home Ministry has approved the first all women battalion of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) which was proposed by the Home Minister on the occasion of 53rd CISF Day function. A battalion comprises of 1000 personnel. The CISF has started preparation for early recruitment, training and selection of location for headquarters of this new battalion.
