New Delhi (28.12.2023): Putting the ad hoc regime at rest in country’s premier para-military forces like CISF and CRPF the New Delhi establishment on Thursday, ahead of New Year celebrations, appointed Nina Singh (IPS: 1989: RJ) as full-fledged Director General of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF); a coveted post which she has been holding as interim DG since 01.09.2023. She replaces Vice Sheel Vardhan Singh (IPS:1986:BH) who retired on 31.08.2023. It may be underlined that Nina Singh was the first woman IPS officer to get DG rank in Rajasthan. 
Further, Anish Dayal Singh (IPS: 1988: MN) was also made full-fledged DG of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). Prior to this he worked as DG, of Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and held as additional charge w.e.f. 01.11.2023. 
Rahul Rasgotra (IPS: 1989: MN), presently working as Special Director, Intelligence Bureau (IB), to the post of Director General, Indo-Tibetan Border Police for a period up to 30.09.2025 i.e. the date of his superannuation. Rasgotra replaces Anish Dayal Singh. 
Further, IB’s “Hardcore” officer Vivek Srivastava (IPS: 1989: GJ) was appointed as Director General, Fire Service, Civil Defence & Home Guards for a period up to 30.06.2025 i.e. date of his superannuation. Srivastava will succeed Mohammad Taj Hasan (IPS: 1987: UT) retiring this month end.
