Public Enterprises Selection Board today selected P Chandrasekaran for Director (Exploration & Development) Oil India Limited; a post which will fall vacant on 31 March 2017 when the incumbent Director Sudhakar Mahapatra will retire. Chandrasekaran currently serves with ONGC as GM (Geo). If everything would go well with Chandrasekaran he will succeed Sudhakar Mahapatra on April 01, 2017 in OIL as Director (E&D). PESB interviewed 12 candidates for the post.
