New Delhi (07.05.2024): Power corridors are abuzz that the race for the post of CEO and Chairman Railway Board (CRB) may kick start soon. Reportedly, the incumbent CEO & CRB Jaya Verma Sinha (IRTS) may be appointed to the post of Member in the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT). It is to be seen whether the changeover would take place in the coming days or after the general elections are over. It may be underlined that she became the first woman CRB w.e.f. 01.09.2023 till her retirement date i.e. 30.09.2023 and further on re-employment basis w.e.f. 01.10.2023 till 31.08.2024.
