New Delhi (24.12.2025):The Centre appointed three Senior Advocates as Additional Solicitors General (ASGs) for India to represent the Union government before the Supreme Court of India. This includes Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar who had served as a Rajya Sabha member as a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) nominee from 2018 to 2024.
The appointments were approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) and formally notified by the Union Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training. The names of newly appointed ASGs are as follows:
