Bhubaneshwar (24.12.2025): Anu Garg (IAS: 1991: OD), DC-cum-ACS and Secretary, Planning and Convergence Department with Additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Water Resources Department, has been appointed as the new Odisha Chief Secretary and Secretary, General Administration and Public Grievances Department. She will replace Manoj Ahuja (IAS: 1990: OD) whose one-year extended tenure is ending on 31.12.2025. She will be the first woman to hold this top bureaucratic position in the state.Former Union Agriculture Secretary Manoj Ahuja was appointed Odisha CS on 28.06.2024 after being repatriated to the cadre.
