The NaMo administration appointed five Joint Director level IPS officers
in the Central Bureau of Investigation as follows:
- Ms. Sampat Meena (IPS:1994:JH) for an overall tenure of five years till 21 Sept 2022
- Anurag (IPS:1994:TR) for an overall tenure of five years ending 24 July 2021
- Rakesh Aggarwal (IPS:1994:HP) for an overall tenure of five years ending 02 Sept 2020.
- Viplav Kumar Choudhry (IPS:1997:JK) for an overall tenure of 05 yrs ending 27 Sept 2019.
- D C Jain (IPS:1991:RJ) for a tenure of five years
